What WFD is

WFD is a rider's gear guide. It shows wingfoil gear, your % Match and what riders say about it. WFD is free for riders. We don't sell gear; buying happens at the shop you choose, under that shop's terms.

Your account

• You can look around without an account. To save gear, follow, like or review, you sign in with Google, Apple or an email link.
• One account per person. Keep your sign-in to yourself.
• You must be 16 or older.
• You can delete your account at any time: Profile → Delete account.

Reviews

• Review only gear you have ridden, and say what you really think.
• One review per version of a product per account.
• If you work for a brand or shop, you may not review its products. Reviews written for pay are not allowed. If you ride for a brand (team rider, ambassador), you may review its gear if you say so with "I ride for this brand".
• No insults, personal data of others, advertising or copied text.
• Reviews show without your name, unless you choose to show it.

Zero tolerance for abuse. No abusive, harassing, defamatory, sexually explicit or hateful content. Every review can be reported, and riders can block other riders. We act on reports promptly, usually within 24 hours. We may remove content and block accounts that break these rules.

You keep the rights to your reviews. You allow WFD to show them in the app, on the website and in shared links. They are deleted with your account.

Ratings and % Match

% Match is worked out from size charts and your rider profile. Ratings come from riders. Both are a guide, not a promise. Money never changes them: shops, brands and deals don't influence ratings, % Match, the order of reviews or search results.

Shops and links

Prices and stock come from shops and can change. Some links are affiliate links, so WFD may earn a fee if you buy. Your purchase is a contract between you and the shop.

Safety

Wing foiling carries real risk. You decide what you ride and when. Matches, specs and suggestions in WFD are a guide, not safety advice.

Liability

We take care to keep WFD correct and running, but we can't promise it is always complete or available. We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, and for harm to life, body or health. Otherwise our liability is limited as far as the law allows. Your rights as a consumer stay as they are.

Changes and law

If these terms change in a way that matters, we tell you in the app before it applies. Austrian law applies, without its conflict rules; if you live in another country, the consumer protection of that country still applies to you.
